Update

I can hardly believe that in a couple of days I will get to see my family and David will finally meet his Grandpa Konkel! Spring has been good to us here, and I am sure it will feel like going back in time once I am back in the snow in Wyoming. It was weird making sure I packed Davy's snow suit...in May.

In other updates we celebrated Zach's 35th birthday on the 6th. He requested beef burgundy for dinner and I was sure to buy a very delicious looking cake from the bakery. David enjoyed the present opening and the singing of "Happy Birthday". Unfortunately Zach's back has seen better days and seems to be a constant burden. I make sure to keep the hot water bottle handy at all times and it is difficult for him to bend down and pick up Davy (which he hates). He joins us in the U.S in a couple weeks so I hope he gets some time to recover.
We made our monthly trek over the border to Germany to stock up on things like toilet paper and toothpaste. I find myself getting really excited to drive since it never happens anymore.
We made sure to get Davy his measels vaccination before we left. Usually you wait until they are a year old, but with all the idiot anti-vaxxer's on the loose and the latest outbreak we thought it a good idea to have it done sooner.

Davy's First Easter

Hoppidy hop-hop. Obviously the highlight of our Easter was getting to put bunny ears on David. He seemed pretty into it and was hamming it up for the camera. We dressed up, took some family photos, went for a walk, and ate a delicious roast. It was grand being home with our little family for a long four day weekend. I am a huge fan of the idea of a three day work week.

David continues to make us smile, and laugh everyday. He is getting more and more steady with his standing, but I am still right there waiting for the fall. He has been "sharing" a lot of his toys, handing them to us and likes us to give it back. He is so proud when he gets it back and gets a huge smile on his face. Diaper changing is an ongoing challenge, with him rolling over, crawling, and standing.

I mean...come on. Best 4 francs I ever spent.

I can't believe how many smily pictures we got, he must have loved the beeping timer on the camera

Nox has been allowed to occupy the furniture since Davy is a fan of pulling at his tail and mustache.
