Wyoming Christmas

Is there any better way to spend Christmas than with feet and feet of snow? I don't think so. We spent an amazing week in north western Wyoming, snow shoeing, sledding and exploring.

It snowed pretty much the entire trip, and since out cabin was in a canyon, there was no wind, so the snow just piled up, like heaps of powdered sugar.

Our warm hearth

These cute dudes, and I am sorry to say that all I could think about was getting them as blankets...

hanging out

I'm not sure on what was more impressive on our sleigh ride, the elk or out two 19-hand tall draft horses

Sherman and Tank

It was cooooollllld, thank goodness they had blankets in the sleighs

One of my favorite things about the snow was having a comfy chair wherever you went

Not quite like Kansas City

Best, and cutest bakery? Check this place out if you are in Jackson Hole

Not a bad way to end the day

I wanted to stop this treck much earlier, but Zach convinced me to keep on going, and I am so glad I did.

Pretty much how every afternoon went...

Log Cabin Goodness

Well, we are headed to Wolf for Thanksgiving, and we are SOOOOOOO excited! It is high time we had some open spaces and home cookin'. With the winter vortex in full force, a cozy little log cabin sounds like the perfect place to be, don't ya think?
