Well, another year gone. Hard to believe, really. We had a lovely Christmas vacation which consisted mainly of delicious food and Netflix, but we were also able to see great friends, go for long walks, and most importantly, just be together.
Noteworthy:
The fireworks at New Years were an intense experience, especially for our dogs who shook like dry autumn leaves throughout the ordeal.
I started oil painting again
We woke up to snow this morning, the first since we have lived here.
It is always a good sign when you wake up and wander into the kitchen to find your husband weighing butter. I was treated to some delicious baking courtesy of Zach this break.
Why is it so satisfying taking down Christmas decorations? I love the feeling of a clean slate at the beginning of the new year.
We are counting down the days until we go home to celebrate my brother's wedding
