The Usual

Not too much new around here. Some of the most interesting things include the massive number of enormous slugs making their way all over the sidewalk and trails, election madness that will come to a head next month and loads and loads of rain.

Since we both returned from the States we have been taking it easy, catching up on things at home and for Zach at work. We will take off again in a couple weeks but are enjoying our down time.  August is the month when all the Germans take their holiday. School starts again next week sometime.

Daily walks or runs are had in the forest (one more my favorite things about Germany). I love discovering the bright red and white polka-dot toadstools along with an abundance of blackberries.
