Destination: London

Well, I was bound to like this place, since some of my life favorites ( Midsomer Murders, Agatha Christie, and Mary Poppins, to name a few) come from this place. I think we checked off everything we wanted to do and see. We both loved riding on the top of the red buses as well as long walks in the park, the Crown Jewels and absolutely amazing food. I would move there tomorrow.

Weekend Fun

Having a dear friend from grade school just an hour and a half away is simply wonderful. Her husband was out of town and I left my husband at home for the weekend. I attended my very first Renaissance Fair at a lovely castle on a lovely day. Man oh man, these people go all out! It was interesting seeing all of the outfits, listening to live music and eating delicious food. Our favorite was their fire bread, it's like roasting marshmallows but with bread dough and cheese, yum!

It was a wonderful weekend and I am sure we will do it again soon.
