Perfectly Imperfect

This blog has been a great place to release my inner designer, to gather thoughts and beautiful images. It portrays a beautiful way of life, my personal photos tend to fit into this "perfect" category as well, only showing my clean put together life. But people, I'm here to say it ain't always so, and today was one of those days, I would like to share with you a very real Anna, for those who know me well, this won't come as a surprise...... the photos should speak for themselves, and let me just make this clear now. I. Hate. Baking. But I really did try to impress my husband for his 31st birthday, it didn't have my intended effect... but it was better. Here's to not being perfect, and doing something for someone you love, no matter what...

Swoon: The Getaway

It's hot and noisy. Thanks goodness that we will be house sitting for family this weekend where there will be a yard, trees, a deck and most importantly... QUIET! Even though it is only for a short time, it is still a good reminder of how we all need to get away every once in a while to relax and recharge! Here's to  quiet weekends and beautiful getaways everywhere!
