John Robshaw Fabrics and Textiles

I love pattern, and fabric, so this guy is pretty much my favorite. I love his bright colors and traditional pattern...

Ain't he cute?

Brick

There are some things that I seriously love about our loft, first and foremost has to be the exposed brick which played a key part in our choosing of the Ebeneezer loft on Delaware Street.  They add texture and cozy to what is essentially a box of a space. I will miss them when we finally depart, but I am glad to be able to enjoy the quirkiness while I still can. Here are some other lovely lofty exposed brick spaces...

Design Crush: Lauren Liess

I love a good design blog, and this one is one of my favorites. I live vicariously through this lady, who bought a new home last year and has been renovating it piece by piece. She writes about her progress with honesty and wit, it has been so fun to see the transformation.  I hope one day to be able to do the same on this blog. So here are some before and after shots of her old and new homes...

Picture Update

Lately, this has been happening

and with falling snow comes an eager spectator

We had a taste of what spring could be like about a week ago... this is our equivalent of spring cleaning

It was getting nicer.... for  a while

I was even able to keep some basil alive for more than one week

Well, back to the loft life for a while longer.... ready for spring...
