I can't believe we leave Germany in less than a week. It is surreal to say the least. We seem to be in this weird sort of limbo, waiting for things to finally start happening. The movers will be here on Thursday! It is hard to reflect on everything that we have accomplished and learned over the last three years. Learning a new language, a new culture, and of course, brining a new life into this world. We are proud of "diving into the deep end" and seeing what turned up, we have gained so much from this experience and I wouldn't change it for the world. Even though there were definite highs and lows, Germany will always be the place where our son was born, and holds so many "firsts" for us we have lost count. We will miss the forests, our apartment, fresh bratwurst, and the beer. Auf Wiedersehen Deutschland, you have taught us so much.
