Even though we are getting close to our move to the midwest, I still find myself in decorating and homemaking mode, still hanging pics on the wall and still enjoying projects to try and make our little apartment our home. I fear that if I gave up and just waited for the movers to arrive, our house would be a disaster zone for the next couple of weeks.
One of these homemaker projects was taking an old brass candlestick and making it into a chic table lamp. Thanks to my very handy husband this process was easier than I thought. After ordering some parts online, it was easy as install and voila! I know brass is "in" right now, but what I was really after was having a lamp with a black shade in my home. I just LOVE them...
So here is the second instalment of all things black and wonderful.... the black shade...
